At the North American International Auto Show, Denso exhibited its next-generation car dashboard. The biggest feature of the dashboard was the integration of iPhone smartphones in the instrument integration set in the center of the steering wheel.
It is reported that the new instrument and equipment integration adopts a manual operation interface, and the user can set individual parameters, such as selecting different skin configurations and starting new functions.
The embedded iPhone instrument integrated in the center of the steering wheel can be associated with other instruments to monitor whether the driver is sleepy. If the driver is overtired, the relevant equipment can provide prompts and warnings visually and audibly to ensure safe driving.
In addition to the driver alert mode, the new dashboard also features a city driving mode that monitors the cyclical changes in nearby traffic lights to help drivers understand surrounding traffic lights, avoid red lights as much as possible, and optimize vehicle speed.
