The National Key Research and Development Program “Sun Radiation Spectral Space Radiation Reference Load Technology” project is led by the Hefei Institute of Material Science, Chinese Academy of Sciences, in conjunction with the Changchun Institute of Optics, Fine Mechanics and Physics, Chinese Academy of Metrology, Southwest Institute of Technical Physics, 11 units including the National Satellite Meteorological Center jointly undertaken, and on May 19, 2018, the Ministry of Science and Technology approved the project, and received special funds to support 85.90 million yuan, with a project period of 4 years (2018.5-2022.4). The project adopts a new working system combining parametric down conversion and low temperature electric alternative measurement, and strives to break through three core technologies: absolute value transfer based on space low temperature radiometer, wide spectrum low noise related photon compliance detection, measurement accuracy and stability verification. The measurement uncertainty of the total solar irradiance of 0.05%, the spectral irradiance of 0.3%, and the earth reflection spectrum radiance of 1%, and the function of measuring the lunar irradiance verification stability.
