·In the past 12 years, China’s automobile satisfaction has declined for the first time

The China Quality Association and the National User Committee recently announced the 2013 National Automotive User Satisfaction Survey. The results show that in 2013, China's auto industry user satisfaction index was 79 points (out of 100 points), down 1 point year-on-year. This is the first time since the implementation of the evaluation in 2002 that China's automobile satisfaction level has dropped.

The evaluation showed that the scores of the four major factors affecting the level of satisfaction, such as brand image, expected quality, perceived quality and perceived value, decreased by 2%, 1.7%, 1.6% and 1.2% respectively.

According to the evaluation results, the number of new car failures in the three systems of “engine system”, “driving, steering and braking” and “shifting system” accounted for about 50% of the total system. The user mentioned that the high-risk fault (problem) is “fuel consumption is too high”, “the gear is not allowed/blocking difficulty (manual gear)”, “the engine has noise”, “acceleration response is slow/no power”, “ Wind noise is large, etc.

The relevant person in charge of the China Quality Association said that automobile companies should focus on improving quality and brand image, and after-sales service should focus on improving service efficiency. In October this year, China's auto three-pack policy will be officially implemented. Whether producers and distributors can earnestly fulfill these "three guarantees" responsibilities will directly affect the overall service level and user satisfaction of China's auto industry.
