Fiat Powertech's unique, patented HI-eSCR aftertreatment system can effectively reduce nitrogen oxides by more than 95% and meet the strict EU NOx emission limit requirements without the use of EGR (Exhaust Gas Recirculation). The technical advantages of Fiat Power Technology and the performance, efficiency and reliability of its products have won the favor of more and more Fiat Industrial Group external customers. Of the four truck candidates that participated in the 2013 International Truck Selection, three used Fiat Power Technologies engines. The F1 Series 2.3-liter (F1A) and 3-liter (F1C) common-rail four-cylinder engines feature powerful, fuel-efficient, reliable and durable performance. Its power range is 78-129 kW (106 -176 HP). The F1 engine uses a second-generation common-rail fuel system that effectively boosts power and torque and reduces fuel consumption. The NEF series includes 4-cylinder and 6-cylinder engines with a power range of 118 - 235 kW (160-320 HP). The NEF engine is developed for the most demanding customers and is a masterpiece of Fiat's lean design and superior technology. Both 4-cylinder and 6-cylinder engines are equipped with second-generation heavy-duty common-rail fuel injection systems that excel in load response, maximum torque, maximum power, etc., while fuel consumption is extremely low. The NEF engine is also a leader in product suitability and reliability. Fiat Power Technologies will exhibit an N60 engine at the show. The six-cylinder Cursor series offers 8.7, 11, and 12.9 liters of different displacements and power ranges from 228 to 412 kW (310 to 560 HP). The Cursor engine is suitable for customers who require high power, fast load response, high energy density, and the highest durability and reliability of the product. Based on continuous research and development, the Cursor series of engines have the most advanced technologies, such as the second-generation heavy-duty common-rail fuel injection system, guaranteeing pressures up to 2200 bar, providing excellent performance while requiring extremely low operating costs. Fiat Power Technologies will exhibit a Cusor13 engine at the show.

In September 2012 at the Hanover Motor Show (IAA) in Germany, Fiat Power Tech and Iveco have jointly demonstrated their full range of Euro VI trucks and engines. The new Iveco Stralis Hi-way truck equipped with the Fiat Power Technology Cursor engine won the "International Truck of the Year 2013" award.
